Herbstzeitlose: I think i correct it a bit, but cannot do much to change it because i actually used a picture and was very careful to make it as close to the real picture as possible. and i don't get mad! it's great to have comments and critiques!! that's the only way to become better!

Something else now, with decorated eggs I made with the traditionnal warm wax technic used to make the ukrainian easter eggs for centuries:






The technic in a few words is quite simple. You drew the lines on the white egg with warm wax, than put the egg in color, and after dat, you just melt the wax again and remove it. You can also use different colors, but you have to begin with the lighter ones. For an egg like those two it take maybe an hour or two, but for the more sophisticated eggs it can take an all day! Anyway, I consider it as a very beautiful primitive tradition. Making it is a sort of meditation, and you can really feel the spirituel energy during all the process.

You all make beautiful things! I wish I were an artist myself but it seems I only manage to be creative with my imagination.
I love to take pictures but I don't think I'm good with that. I only reproduce reality with a camera, chosing the best position and the best moment, I'm not creating with my own skills.

@ Corriel: I never heard of this guy before. I just checked some of his work, but could not find any collages: many drawings, pictures,... but no collages. But anyway, I think I can consider your comparison as an compliment. :wink:

I only saw his collages in a documentary on TV. He also used parts from women bodies and other elements to create unrealistic "things".
